I love this garment. It does in fact deliver a smaller waist. My only advice would be to go one step larger than the chart indicates. There are two rows of eyehooks to assist in getting the right fit. If the garment is too small to begin with (even if it's the "normal" size you buy in clothing), you will have body overspill at the top.

LOVE IT!! This garment does the trick and is so comfortable. I was a little apprehensive when I took it out the package because the outside of the garment is exposed "rubber". I thought this would make it stick to some clothing materials. But I was very pleased when I tried it on and with different fabrics, from stiff to more clingy fabrics it really cinches! I am thick in the waist and it took two inches off my waist instantly. It really gave me a an indentation in my waist which I lack naturally. The second row of hooks is great as I am on an aggressive work out plan, so this will help as I lose more inches. You cant beat this garment for the value.
